WICKERED

Exploring basketry techniques, these objects were made by blowing glass into weaved wicker molds. The wicker is burned away completely during the process resulting in patterned organic vessels, each unique and impossible to duplicate.

The combination of two traditional craft methods explores the purpose of the making when one technique leaves but a trace on the other.
